Kotozume Yukari

Kotozume Yukari (琴爪ゆかり Kotozume Yukari or โคโตซึเมะ ยูการิ in the

Thai sub) is

one of the five main characters of KiraKira☆Pretty Cure A La Mode who is a 5^th grade secondary student at Academy. She is rather selfish and above everyone else like a "cat". Yukari's alter ego is Cure Macaron (キュアマカロン Kyua Makaron) and she is based off macarons and cats.

Her catchphrases are "How Interesting" (「面白いわ」"Omoshiroi wa") and "Fufufu..." (「フフフ…」 "Fufufu...").

Bio[]

Appearance[]

Yukari has purple colored eyes and long wavy lilac hair. She wears magenta earrings. She wears a lavender colored coat that she is held closed by a light purple bow. Underneath her coat is a purple top and she wears knee length purple boots.

As Cure Macaron, her hair becomes longer and becomes slightly darker. She wears a large purple macaron-shaped hat on the left side with two magenta-colored orbs on it. On her head are a pair of cat-like ears. Her dress is short with a light purple and violet bodice and puffy sleeves. The bottom part of it is purple with a white part in the middle and two violet buttons running down the middle of that part. The skirt is puffy with purple and white on the top layer, followed by a light purple lining, then a magenta layer with purple lining it. On the left hip appears to be her Sweets Pact set on a purple ribbon. She wears long light purple gloves and thigh-length purple high-heeled boots with an anklet with three magenta orbs on it around her left ankle. She also wears a purple choker with a long purple ribbon in the back and magenta orb-shaped earrings.

Personality[]

Yukari is a beautiful yet noble girl. When she is bored, she'll use her skills to perform tasks but after meeting Ichika, she starts to enjoy everyday a lot more. She can be quite selfish and arrogant like a "cat".

Etymology[]

Kotozume ( 琴爪 ) : Koto (琴) means 'harp' while Zume (爪) means 'fingernail' or 'claw' which could be a reference to a cat's claw.

Yukari ( ゆかり ) means 'affinity'. It can also mean "violet" or "purple", a nod to her color scheme.
